• Toby Hutchins

    Toby Hutchins  Mr. Hutchins currently serves as the Board Vice President. A 2011 graduate of Fennville High School, Toby has lived in the Fennville area his entire life.

    Mr. Hutchins graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Public & Nonprofit Administration and Political Science as well as a minor in Music. Now, he is a Master’s student at the University of Michigan, studying Higher Education. As a part of the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at UofM, Toby is studying the issues around student success in college and various issues around the high school to higher education pipeline.

    Goals for Mr. Hutchins time on the Fennville Board of Education include: getting the word out about Fennville’s achievements, as Allegan County’s premier diverse school district, improving our already great facilities, listening to all voices involved in the education of our students, maintaining our status as a very fiscally sound school district and providing out of the box solutions to the conversation. He looks forward to asking questions, turning ideas into concrete solutions with relentless positivity, and putting the students first.

    Board Committees Mr. Hutchins currently serves on are Student Program, Chair, Paine Volunteerism, and he is a delegate for Michigan Association of School Board. (MASB)
