Food Service
Our food service program is essential to supporting our students' health and success. We work hard to provide healthy, balanced meals during the school day to help students focus, learn better, and stay well. Our meals follow strict nutrition guidelines and include fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. More than just serving food, we make sure every student—no matter their financial situation—has access to a good meal each day.
All students at FPS can enjoy one FREE breakfast and one FREE lunch daily!
A FREE meal must consist of 3 items, 1 of which must be a fruit or vegetable. Additional meals or items that do not meet the qualifications (such as just a drink) can be purchased at the register. Each cafeteria also has a Share Cooler available for students. At the end of each lunch we encourage students to put any unopened milk, juice and fruit into the Share Cooler for students who would like additional items or a drink to go with their home lunch.
